Southwest Michigan is a mecca of family-friendly beach towns with great shopping and dining — have fun exploring or fully chilling! Fun fact: Grand Beach was designed as a resort community way back in the day & the stately white gates have welcomed visitors since the early 1900’s while the golf course dates back to 1911.
We honor history while breathing fresh life and character into old structures. The design goal for the Neighborhood Grand Beach was to preserve the warmth of the original woodsy cabin while creating an airy, playful space with a whisper of low key luxury. The end result boasts smoky scents from the original stone fireplace, bohemian accents like hanging chairs, and pops of color that mingle with the natural earth tones of the landscape.
The short answer is no. However, we’re all about making our hotels feel like an extension of your home! While we don’t have an in-person team to greet you, we hope our guests feel the warmth and gratitude!

Grand Beach is approximately 75 miles from downtown Chicago — about a 90 minute drive depending on traffic. It’s one of the closest true nature escapes from the city, making it ideal for weekend getaways, extended stays, and corporate retreats.
We don’t have an elevator, but there are only two levels. There is a ramp off the front entry and another ramp to the pool deck making the space wheelchair and stroller accessible.

The area gets very quiet at night – super peaceful. Quiet hours begin @ 11pm ET.
At 11:30am on your check-in day, you’ll receive a text message with your suite number and a unique entry code that works for both the hotel lobby door and your suite.
