Life is SWEET, in a NBHD Hotel SUITE!

The Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach (less than 90 minutes in your car from Chicago) is a place where nature’s bounty is celebrated and pure comfort is prioritized. Imagine beginning your day with sounds of nature, coffee by the campfire followed by a dip in the glistening pool or yoga near the ravine. The adventurer explores the woods and waters of Harbor Country before a round of golf or tennis. Meanwhile, the relaxed vacationer continues to bask (possibly reclined) amongst the native trees and greenery. The day comes to a close with bbq delicacies garnished with fresh herbs from the garden + s’mores under the stars (or in the plush living room for indoor folks).

Your suite is the ideal blend of rustic cabin meets ethereal luxury. The common spaces are campy-hip with warm touches that even smell good (think wood paneled walls, aromatic pine trees, smoky embers). This is your place for adventure, connection, or to just chill.

This is the ideal place for family, friends and work colleagues to gather — we’re all about spaces that are comfortable and versatile.

Back to your vacation: before you arrive, we’ll send super easy check-in instructions so that you can easily get to Suite 4 – a lovely ONE BEDROOM + ONE BATHROOM.

RECENT REVIEWS from HAPPY GUESTS:

1. We loved our time here! Quiet and peaceful but you feel close to everything you need! The suite was everything we needed and the common areas were great as well. The walk to the beach was very doable. Amazing to see deer wondering through the property also. We are already thinking about our next visit and who else we can get to come with us.

2. This is the second time (since June) that we have stayed at The Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach. We already have a reservation to come again. There are MANY reasons that we keep coming back! The ease of check in/check out, the comfortable accommodations (bed, pillows, blankets, lighting, spa products), the homey, VERY quiet setting and the location ( close to the beach and also to New Buffalo). There are so many lovely and thoughtful considerations throughout the property – including delicious coffee in each suite; fixings for s’mores; a popcorn maker in the common area; noise canceling machines in every room; a game room and on site laundry. We truly feel that we are on vacation when we stay here. The Neighborhood Hotel group has thought of it all. Can’t what for our return!

3. Loved how inviting the neighborhood hotel was! There is so much attention paid to details of how to make our stay so welcoming and fun. From all different condiment choices in our room to s’mores. Pleasant aroma throughout the hotel and our suite as well. Highly recommend staying here!

FYI…

Michigan’s southwest coast, Harbor Country, has welcomed generations of visitors to enjoy lovely beaches and an overall relaxed lifestyle. The state’s slogan, Pure Michigan, is quickly apparent as you swim through Lake Michigan, enjoy beer and wine tastings at the many family-owned vineyards, trek to the top of massive sand dunes, or paddle a canoe around the smaller, inland lakes. Southwest Michigan is a mecca of family-friendly beach towns with great shopping and dining — have fun exploring or fully chilling! Fun fact: Grand Beach was designed as a resort community way back in the day & the stately white gates have welcomed visitors since the early 1900’s while the golf course dates back to 1911.

If you like the sounds of Suite 4, consider suites 5, 10 & 11.

Our buildings have stories ingrained in the walls (in a non-creepy way) - stories that are meant to be told and shared. The Neighborhood Little Italy was formerly the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame which honored the greatest Italian-American athletes, broadcasters, and sports workers to benefit athletics in the United States. Once again, we've fallen for a space outfitted with cool history + architecture.
