One of our favorite things about The Neighborhood Hotel Little Italy is how easy it is to access so many of Chicago’s important cultural institutions, great food and SUPER important: the hospitals and universities! As we feel spring weather creeping in, we’re reminded of all that’s on the horizon before we dive into summer. We’d like to give a major shoutout to those graduating from nearby University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and Rush University in just a few months – they have worked so hard and can see the finish line! RUSH MEDICAL COLLEGE’S MATCH DAY // WEEK OF MARCH 11
Match Day marks the end of the process of applying and interviewing for residency programs at health care institutions across the country. Once students finish their residency interviews in January, they rank their choices in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) system, while residency programs rank their top student picks. The NRMP system then matches students with the residency programs.
