Donations
We believe that strong communities are built through consistent, collective effort — and that businesses have a responsibility to show up for the neighborhoods that support them.
The Neighborhood Hotel was built with community at its core. We’ve been fortunate to have had so many people, organizations, and neighborhoods rally around us as we’ve grown — in Chicago and across Southwest Michigan. Giving back isn’t an afterthought for us. It’s part of who we are.
Our donations are almost exclusively in the form of complimentary hotel stays and room nights. We don’t write checks — we open our doors. Whether it’s a silent auction item, a staff retreat, a family in need of a getaway, or a nonprofit fundraiser, we’re happy to contribute what we do best: a great place to stay.
How We Give
Every December, we donate a percentage of Lincoln Park and Little Italy’s monthly revenue to a local charity. We’ve supported Hope Chicago (2023 + 2025) — an organization creating pathways to higher education for Chicago families — and the 100 Club of Illinois (2024), which provides support to the families of first responders killed in the line of duty across all 102 Illinois counties.
Throughout the year, we accept donation requests on a rolling basis and do our best to support as many organizations as we can. We also partner with Catholic Charities quarterly to prepare and distribute hundreds of lunches for those in need across Chicago’s neighborhoods.
